The Kerala State Audit Association, the only heard voice of the Staff of the Department since its inception, has been relentlessly striving for the welfare of the employees and for the overall development of the department.
Enactment of the Kerala State Audit Act in 1994 and Kerala Local Fund Audit Act in 1996 will always be the golden feathers in the cap of the Association. The other notable achievements for which the Association had to fight for include relaxation of TA ceiling for audit saff, an inevitable role in sanctioning 132 additional posts in 1998, retention of RDB audit to Head Office consequent to abolition of RDB, entrustment of Integrated Tourism Audit & Hospital Development Committee Audit, sanctioning of 69 additional posts in March, 2006 alongwith upgradation of 14 posts of Deputy Director to Deputy Director (H.G)
